Images_15 It is very comical to see that some people wish to bluntly believe (bad) rumours than listening to facts. To make matters worse, this self is being a victim of abuse when I get accusations rather than a Thank You for my good intention of correcting the wrongs. Poor me when the intention is mistaken for some sort of provocation though it’s being delivered in the best manner possible, as to not to make s/he feel stupid for buying some dim-witted stories oh so seriously.

Let’s have a reminiscence on the Friendster matter, shall we?

Back then, I (and I’m sure you do too) received countless messages regarding the closure of Friendster. It annoyed me so much until I had to make a drastic action to post a comment on the bulletin.

For people who can think straight, they know that it’ll not happen, especially when Friendster is at its peak of popularity. Even if they decide to do it, being an established service provider (they are, aren’t they?), users will be FORMALLY notified IN SYNC for any termination and not via ‘word of mouth’ and forwarded messages.

But for this case, I didn’t get bashed. It’s the other way round.

Just recently, I received a forwarded e-mail on DiGi’s latest advertisement, claiming that the theme song is derived from a gospel song, which can be found in Sister’s Act. Having forwarded mails as enemy, suffice to say that the first feeling creeped into my body is deep exasperation. To receive such rumour is one thing, but to soup it up in a blog to be eaten whole by those who didn’t get the mail, caused further damage to the mentality of those who already like to believe in some cock and bulls rather than Googling for further explanation.

However, a praise goes to a good Samaritan (I see him as one) for trying to iron the wrinkle and trying to get the damn thing straight and make them people think twice before buying the chunk.

Just so you know, the song ‘I Will Follow You’ is sung by Ricky Nelson whom I think was in the same league as Doris Day (correct me if I’m wrong).

Trust me, if I have the time to do some research on the timeline for both songs, I’d do it.

For now, I’d rather settle to being neutral.

Such an insult to my intelligence!

How do you know if you have a strong pair of arms that are able to hold your body weight when you try to do a full head stand? I’m beginning to have this question immediately after a session on one. Suffice it to say that I am having a worry on the strength of my arms still… or let’s call it lack of confidence.

Speaking of neck, it is a never-ending frustration to discover that CSI NY is having another set of second season rerun (refer to the very first episode on the mad Russian ‘doctor’).

These past two days were about running to and from The Office and the photocopy shop, getting paper cuts and shouting involuntary ‘Ouch’, enough for the people in The Office to hear.

Pardon me. I am just vulnerable to injuries (tangible or non) when I have to do work triple the actual speed, regardless housework or office work. Oh, I don’t know how to do them gracefully too. If you heard clanking coming from the kitchen of my house, you know it’s always going to be me.

It’s good to have a day off in the weekdays. I’m suffering from sleep deprivation no matter how early I hit the bed.

If sleeping early doesn’t do the cure, I’ll make it a little later.

I’m sure February is going to be an exciting month…

… because that month is the start of my ‘makan pasir’ period. (I am oh so very can’t stop talking about it!)

Do have a good Thaipusam+Fed Territory Day holiday.

Psst… I want to tell you a secret.

Last week, I had Jablai, alone, in my playlist for 3 days in a row. Not only in The Office from 9-6 but at home before I slept too.

That particular song is damn contagious.

Now you can sue me for having such sinful indulgence. However, I’ve moved on to a new tune- Terbaik Untukmu by Tangga.

Soppy but slow enough to fit the climate.

Was halfway through to completing an entry when I decided that it should be deleted. What I had on text was a total contrast to what is on the mind and heart. It is like constructing a sad composition when you are feeling dandy. (in which, mine is just the other way round).

An odd puzzle.

*on her second round of Milo 3-in-1*

When I made up my mind on not having any SERIOUS 2007 resolution in particular (not that I always do, anyways), I mean it. However, underneath the folds, I did set a few ‘not so critical’ ones just to see if I am capable of achieving something by the end of December 31st. One of which involves fixing my socializing skill, that I must say, is reaching a pathetic level.

That’s why I am starting the year by forcing myself to get involved in Image_1a commitment that has no turning point (especially when it involves a big amount like 800 bucks that makes me makan pasir the whole month).

Of course it is of passion too.

But then again, it’s either now or never. Besides, I am also in a mission to establish my own cult.

Har! Har! Har!

Ain’t I curious to see the result?

Hell I am!

I was and still am having writer’s block. If I have enough money to waste, I’d probably consider going to Dr. Dhilip’s hypno therapy center and ward this block away. Speaking of hypnosis, remind me to give hypnosis a try (obviously when I have nothing else to spend on). I want to see if I am capable of being spellbound.

Images_14 One the lighter note, I am through to the next round towards becoming a Jam instructor (yay!). The training will take 3 days and for the certificate, I have to fork out AUD320. So basically, I am officially broke in February. Since my car insurance will expire the month after February, that also means I’ll be dirt broke again by March.

So, pardon me if you caught me eating pasir along the way. I am just hungry…
