Au Revoir 2007
With less than 12 hours, we shall bid buh-bye to 2007. I just got back from a 4-days year-end vacation to Penang. I love everything about that state- the beach, the town, the people… but only one thing remains in my hate list - the road. When it comes to finding places, I can say that my sense of direction is fairly good. But it’s useless once I’m in Penang. I could still recall the time when I was 40 minutes late for my appointment in Penang. It’s a shame to be lead by the client to the meeting place. Adoi..
So, if you were to ask me of one thing I wished the state government should look into, it would be placing more USEFUL signboards.

2007 Flashback
There are a few significant events to highlight, in which one of them involving my decision on pursuing the instructorship program. I am on my final stage now, waiting to start team teaching.
On my love life, there’s still no change on my status but I have to admit that I am seeing someone at the moment. I had a few downs along the way but they are just another normal things you’ll encounter as singles. I’ve learnt from shits. Men come and go but this particular guy remains in my life.
Meeting new people along the way taught me how to understand them more. I’ve learnt to be less judgmental, less angry and more analytical towards their behaviours. I’ve become calmer and less angry towards people yang mempunyai perangai yang amat menjengkelkan. And for that, I should give myself a few brownie points.
People let me down throughout the year, even on the remaining days of the final month of the year. From those who are insignificant in my life to those whom I think are important to me, these people proved to me that it’s hard for them just to be a little responsible. I am still angry at this person who stood me up last week. I still haven’t gotten any explanation, just a damn please-forgive-me SMS. A responsible person won’t do that.
So typical of people.
Like any other new year, I don’t go out to celebrate. I’m going to watch X-Men trilogy tonight.
To each and everyone of you, Happy New Year 2008. If you’re not the type who are strong enough to keep resolutions, I advice you not to make any. Just go with the flow. That will be much better than cursing yourself for not being able to execute any of them. Speaking of resolution, I have one short-term resolution to execute- to shed the extra pouch on the waistline I collected during my stay in KP and to redefine my ass.
How’s that for a start? ;)
I Am Supah Kay!
I hate doing report. Even more so when I am the one who has to do the printing. The whole wide world knows that I am jinxed when it comes to printing. Even after the whole vetting procedure, I still catch a few disturbing sights in the end. And having to suffer from mild to not-quite-mild compulsive disorder, those sights are like seeing someone with butt crack.
In the end, this obsession left me with extended deadline (that I made my own)…

I went back to KP this morning. Somehow rather, driving along the road I used to travel for 7 months made me miss the whole thing. (but not the job though). I’m not sure who occupies the house and I was wondering how Pak Teh and Mak Teh are doing. If it wasn’t because of my trying to race with time, I would’ve had my lunch there. Up until this very moment (time check: 8.30 pm), I only had 3 karipap.
And somebody told me that I’m getting skinnier…
Apa nak buat…
Balik KL = hectic life.
Pegi KP = the life of a pensioner.
Not much changes in KP though. The only noticeable one is the increase of potholes. The last time I remembered, the road was oh so smooth. Tapi sekarang?
So here I am, stealing a few minutes to pour my heart out to those who are willing to listen. Nothing boo-hoo. Just an update.
Oh btw, Kylie is leaving M’sia tomorrow night. A dash to the studio upon hearing about her final class despite being in the middle of focusing on getting the alignment of the document right (somehow, it doesn’t look quite right to me still… hrm…).
A strict but good teacher. We’re going to miss her. Oh, she’s coming for the next quarterly anyways. You can check her out in the latest Female. There’s an interview with her on fitness programs offered by Les Mills conducted in FF (now I’m sounding like a salesperson…).
Okay, Imma back to work.
p/s: And I have to let go Studio C’s event for the second time… :(
Penang, Here I Come!
Being given a last minute notice to clear my 2 weeks untouched leave left me with less time to plan for a getaway. With deadline to meet and another final trip to KP in 2 days, I couldn’t think of any available place to go to splurge (a good one that is).
Not until last night when I was having a conversation with a friend on going for a break. A long one. The timing will be just perfect- the time when we both will be free from work, ie. him, with his training jobs and I, with my report.
Speaking of report, I think I have to go to work on Saturday…
Alamak! Ari kawen this Saturday! Kad belum pass to Mieza and Dhira!
*shriek!*
It is decided that the destination this time will be Penang.
Only one issue left- my claim.
Due to late submission, I’m not sure if I can get it before we close the office for 2 weeks.
Hopefully boleh lah kan…
feri… cable car… rojak… buah pala… the temples… beaches…oh and FF Island Plaza. (mengong!)
Aaah…
Boogaloo!
It is hard to tell the brain to move as a member when you are so accustomed to moving from the instructor side. Nevertheless, it was a fun class. Looking at the amount of people in the studio, I was wondering how on earth were they going to execute the jungle turn on the second block. They managed it well though despite the space they had. I one the other side, standing at the back provided me with all the space I needed. :)
Speaking of Jam, fyi, one of my favourite tracks is Enough Is Enough. Out of curiousity, I Youtubed the video (ye lah, nak jugak tau how the singers look like kan). Found it but I have to warn you guys that it is a good laughing material.
And by the way, the enhanced version of the song is waaaay better than the one you’re going to listen to. And the choreo is WAY SUPER better than what the girls were forced to do.

But that is not as hilarious as this one below.
This is by Right Said Fred - I’m Too Sexy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipZDG6__Zfc
I’m too sexy for my shirt,
Too sexy for my shirt,
So sexy it hurts…
*Faints*
Eh, can be a good karaoke song jugak lah!
Bwahahahahahaha!
Sorry. I just couldn’t help myself but laughing like mad. Pre Nu-Millenium clips are always…erm… amusing.
Bwahahahahahaha!
p/s: A big thanks to Ms. Zara for inviting me to the party. :) It was fun meeting your crazy friends too. :))
Two Men and This One Small Girl
To the man who used to make my heart blooms a garden of flowers…
I gotta let my spirit be free,
To admit that I’m wrong and then change my mind.
Sorry but I have to move on,
And leave you behind.
I’m done investing my energy on you. :)
I can’t waste time, so give it a moment,
I realize nothing is broken,
No need to worry about everything I’ve done,
Live every second like it was my last one.
… and it feels so good to be back!
********
And to the man whom I used to stay away from but in the end realize that he is THE ONE that worth the keep…
Sometimes everything is wrong,
Now it’s time to sing along,
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you’ve had too much of this life, well hang on…
A battle I am fighting…
‘Cause everybody hurts,
Take comfort in your friends,
Everybody hurts,
Don’t throw your hand,
Oh, no, Don’t throw your hand...
… because life is about spreading the joy.
… and I am going to do it to you.
