This Is A Story About A Deodorant

This is a part of the instruction derived from a deodorant:

“Apply 4-6 swipes per underarm everyday…”

4-6 swipes? Are they insane?

IMHO, even if you need to lighten your underarms, you will only require 3-4 swipes. Not up to 6!

They certainly had very good lecturers at their business schools…

I’m about to kill two birds with a stone.

I’ve agreed to share with Kak Leo on hiring a personal trainer. Back then, I would not even consider getting a trainer, mainly because my focus was still around cardio. I don’t have much problem with my figure besides the once-a-while flab at the stomach area, which is still under control. A friend once told me that it’s okay for us women to have a little pouch at that area provided that it’s not till the point where it deserves a nickname such as Flab Abs.

But, wouldn’t it be nice to have a toned tums?

After a while (putting the blame on Alif as well), I’ve decided to say Yes to PT as I need a few things to fix. One of them is the posture as I don’t look that convincing while dancing.

Macam sebatang mancis cap Superman sedang loncat-loncat dan kelihatan semacam mau terpelanting bila kipas aircond is at full blast.

Giler horror!

Having to stare at the PC for the average of 6 hours per day for 5 days, you will have the tendency to slouch.

Yoga is able to fix this but looking at the situation of the class where the amount of attendees per class can go up to 20, there’s no way that you’ll be coached with the correct posture.

Tak campur lagi time cheating.

But if you’re looking for a class that can build your muscles apart from Pump, yoga is perfect for it. I am a walking testimonial to start with. Cheewah!

Going back to my decision, I have 15, ‘bersedia-untuk-memakai-kerusi-roda-ke-office’ sessions to attend. Perhatian perlu diberi ke abdominal muscles kerana mereka amat sucker during the attempts to do shoulder stand.

Oh, should I mention that I am ‘memasang badan’ for the trip to Bangkok?

Dey! Bangkok mana ada beach!

The sleepyness does not seem to go away. Tea is no longer useful to keep me awake (it never does the trick). The only thing that’s missing is the bed. The hair is already in its messy, non-rescuable state. I managed to apply some Jojoba oil to tame the frizz.

Speaking of hair, truthfully, I don’t wish to straighten my mane, but my curls are too kinky to be allowed to roam freely. I’m planning to start my own hair treatment and see if the curls would turn out nicely. But not today. The mind is too sleepy to do anything. Read: ANYTHING.

Even composing this entry is too mind-challenging.

I need to make myself a cuppa and continue popping the bubble wrap…

Graduation

I’ve grown to become a person who does not like to be a part of an ocean of people. A private person or rather a loner. After detaching myself (macam la pergi bertapa pun…) for quite a while, I prefer the company of only a few people in a group. Two the max.

When I was forced to attend my sister’s graduation day yesterday, I frowned and asked for an excuse. But of course la kena “Jangan ngada.” from mom. So, as reluctantly as one can get, I dragged my foot to the event that placed us in the hall with projected screen. Such a lousy hall.

UM lagi best and kelas!

Behind us in the hall was a superbly talkative Kakak from Kedah. Too talkative but entertaining. Coming from kampung herself, she was elated upon seeing her sister on the big screen.

Super excited wa cakap lu…

As much as I was slightly annoyed with her antics, I pardoned her for being the way she was. She’s a kampung person who is still naive in some ways.

In a way, I pity myself for being so nonchalant…

Or rather, the city people as a whole.

Despite the whole thing, it’s a good observation point- to see and analyze people who are being their typical selves, be it good or the otherwise.

In the end, I only watched my sister receiving her scroll under the big tent, provided to those who were not allowed to get into the halls.

It did not matter to me. Mom had decided to surrender to the fact that filling her empty stomach is the best decision of all. She joined me at the stalls for late lunch.

And we managed to enjoy our meals without having to rush and even made it on time to catch her receiving her scroll.

Tak tipu… UM lagi best…

Ada duit tu, pegi la buat hall macam DTC nanti…

I’ve always been good with my time management… ONLY when I allow myself to be good at it. This is one of them.

It’s Friday and the workload is as light as a feather with only one quotation to complete. Oh, not to forget a form. It’s been a while since I last blogged and while waiting for the caffeine to kick in, I might as well do something light.

I’ve been having trouble waking up for the past week till this very moment. Waking up is just another hard task to execute and it is quite chronic till I had to tell myself to gulp a cup of bitter, black coffee prior to driving home last night.

Tonight, Sean, The New Boss and I will be attending a small-group discussion at Bangsar.

Hope this mind will be active enough to engage in the survey.
