Annoyance
There are things in my life that I can tolerate well with.
For instance…
I can tolerate with people cutting my queue.
I can tolerate with people being insensitive towards others.
I can tolerate with people trying to act cute with me.
I can tolerate with people who think they are good but actually not.
But there are a few things in life that are okay with others but don’t walk hand in hand with my principles. One of them includes…
… people who don’t fulfill their promises.
****
When a friend of mine wrote on my wall a few days back after I shoot him with a quick ‘hi’, I received a comment that bothers me quite a while.
“… that is if we’re still in your circle of friends.”
Call me bad when I say that I am still not in talking mode with this person who used to make me wait for an hour and left me with no explanation but only a series of apologies.
During the time when it was still fresh, mom would constantly ask me if I’ve started to talk to him, in which I replied with a simple ‘No’.
Come December, it’ll be one year since the last time we met. He will once in a while text me or buzz me on Y!M but I guess it still upsets me.
It’s ironic how he now hangs out with another person who used to break the promise to me before.
I guess again, only people with same ‘interest’ will be able to mingle well.
It’s sad to say that I am not one of them.
My bad luck does not stop only there.
Just a few months back, another friend stood me up, or rather ‘cakap tak serupa bikin’.
So much for wanting me badly to tag along with him to Bangkok.
In the end, the whole ‘You-HAVE-to-go-with-me’ crap ended with my not being in talking mode with him till this very moment.
The bottom line is, all we need is a reason to live with and not to be left alone wondering in the dark.
Unfortunately, there are still people out there who don’t manage to comprehend the equation and importance of being courteous.
To me, they just lack of proper education.
As simple as that.
I wonder who else is going to do the same to me…
Second Final Vacation of 2008
… because I’ll be having another one next month.
Well actually, it’s business trip-cum-vacation to Langkawi and Penang. Been to Penang last month so the weight is more on Langkawi. Believe it or not, the last time I visited Langkawi was 13 years back.
I know it’s pathetic but I’m going there soon anyways. :)
Bandung in general is a very nice place. Waaay nicer than the chaotic and messy Medan. Very laidback, better facilities, cleaner, and not to mention the just-nice-and-tolerable-coldness weather. You can basically walk around the area without turning yourself into a shrimp (this goes to RB :).
To me, 2 days will be enough for you to allocate the days for shopping without rushing.
At least for me…
Rumah Mode is a must.
Paris van Java is also a must.
Diana House of Leather is also good. Cheaper bags compared to the normal warehouses/boutiques.
Happening is not bad too. Then to Seximo.
Jalan Dago… :)
Sight seeing session:
The hot spring. Go for it.
Mount Tangkuban Parahu. A must!
Kampung Daun Cultural Village- a very nice place to eat.
One more thing…
I LOVE the houses architecture. The posh cribs are not ‘kampung’ at all. The type that I’d go for should I want to renovate my abode.
Note to RB: It’s totally different from what you saw in Medan. You should go there and from there, you can take the bus to Jakarta. At least the journey will be less than 4 hours! ;P
Want to know what I got myself?
1. A black top.
2. A red-brown Batik-ish top.
3. A black jacket.
4. A tee.
5. A dinner clutch.
6. A kebaya material.
7. A flip flop.
Did I fulfill my shopping objective? Nope.
Why?
Because I couldn’t find the tees that I like there.
One may be wondering why.
Even I wonder why…
The Day It’s Thursday and I’m Stealing Some Minutes to Blog Instead of Working

Wednesday was Explaining Day.
Put Thursday as well.
Wednesday- Explaining Day for RB.
Thursday- Explaining Day for the rest.
***********
I received comments from a few individuals on my way of writing, saying that it’s very read-between-the-lines.
As I told RB, that’s the purpose of my stylistic.
I don’t prefer stating my points straightforwardly as I refuse to make it look like a report.
I prefer to use the (sometimes) exaggerated but (at times can be) vague way of conveying my thoughts not only because I am trying to be cryptic but I’d also like to see the the responses from those who read and don’t mind spending a few moments to comment; whether what they interpret match to what I deliver.
One of the entries that received quite a few (lengthy) comments is the topic on ‘How Easy Is Easy’ (thanks to the responders! :)
Quite an interesting one I must admit.
Even RB misinterpreted it. But the matter has already been resolved and he gets his beauty sleep back. :)
The other misinterpretation involves my previous entry.
Sean, I am not glad of the miscommunication that took place between us last time. What I am glad with is the fact that we’ve ironed the creases and left no important stones unturned.
I am glad that both of us are happy with our lives.
It’s not my utmost intention to cheer for our miscommunications. I don’t even think any would love to handle it, for that matter.
There’s a reason to why I open my entry for discussions or comments…
Side Dish:
ACM commented on my relationship with my mobile…
“Each time I see you, you never fail to have an activity with your mobile.”
To which I replied…
… with a smile. :P

I know what to write but I don’t know where to start.
Monday was one of the ‘What A Day!’ days. One emotional day for me and later as I discovered, for Weeds too.
It’s the day when I finally discovered the truth. One of them includes the fact that Sean has been reading this blog for quite sometime.
We’ve ironed out all the wrinkles.
“Just when we wanted to avoid miscommunication, we committed the biggest miscommunication of all.”
I am glad though.
Dear Sean,
Thank you for everything.
:)

On my way to sending Weeds home, we had a chat about her current situation with ACM, which lead her to asking The Question to him last night.
It sucks when you’re ‘neither here nor there’. Been there and I know how it feels. When Weeds voiced out her subconscious feelings towards ACM not long ago, I posed her with this one question:
“What does your heart tell you…?”
I know it is cliche but it’s enough of a question to ask.
“… If it doesn’t feel wrong, then you already know the answer to it.”
I am no Doctor Love but it is a situation I can relate to.
Last night…
“… I don’t want you to be in the situation I used to be in.”
She summed up her courage and finally sought the answer to her doubt.
It didn’t end up the way she expected and it was 5 am when she text me, unable to sleep.
I am not sure if I should feel bad for encouraging her to finally spill the words for the outcome is not something she expected.
It caught her off guard.
Really off guard.
Clearly the nice treatments are not an indicator.
They are just plain nice treatments.
But a part of me, despite feeling a little bad, is glad that she finally knows the truth.
Most truth are bitter to the taste but never underestimate their capability of being quite an excellent ass saver.
No kidding!
The Day I Forgot To Shave My Armpit
1. MyKad
In two weeks time, I’ll get my new MyKad to replace the current one with faulty Touch N Go build-in application that was caused by the TnG sensor in The Mines parking.
I’ve never encountered any error in my past transactions before, not until last week.
If you were to ask me if I am going to switch to dedicated card for it, I’d say no. My wallet has had enough cards to swallow for now. Furthermore, facilities are meant to be used. I even had the thought of transferring my driving license into the card but after the advice from the officer, the wishful thinking has to be forgotten due to the fact that not all Malaysian traffic officers are equipped with card readers.
But hey! There’s NO way they can charge me for failing to present my physical driving license for I am using the facility the government provides me.
Screw them if they are not well equipped enough.
The next process: going to the Touch N Go office this weekend to check on the system application status. If it’s not fixable (which will of course show the loophole of the whole system itself), I’ll request for the refund on the balance (in which I have to wait for a week or so before I finally get the cheque).
Such a small error with such a complex (impractical) processing procedure.
Till I finally get my new card (or till my current card is finally fixed), I’m stuck at the Cash lane. Me no like!
Oh yeah, will they destroy my old card considering that my reason of getting a new one is only because of a faulty tiny application? LOL!

2. This Is The Way We Brush Our Teeth, Brush Our Teeth, Brush Our Teeth…
I took the chance to visit the dentist after that to get my teeth checked with the hope that the doc will fix the hole caused by the previous government dentist that I went to last year.
Went there just to be told that there’s nothing wrong with it.
Voiced my concern on the long term effect, especially knowing me who doesn’t make the visit to the dentist as my half-yearly routine, but he’s still on his stand- that my teeth are A-O-K.
Oh well, I asked him to do scaling anyways.
Please give me a whack as I am enjoying my black coffee now.

3. CHOCOLATES!
I knew that my heart was right!
That my parcels would arrive yesterday!
I know I can always trust my hunch :)

4. It Could Be That I Was Stoned From The Excessive Cocoa Intake
I missed my training.
Drove all the way to GEM just to be informed that it was actually in OU.
I owe Susan a meal!
What was I thinking???
Heh!
