My hair is not straight by nature. I was born a ‘mee magi’ and not a ’spaghetti’. When all the straight-haired people want to get their curls, I on the other hand want to get rid of it. Not that I hate the texture (I do love it to bits) but let’s just put it this way- for now, I am not ready to spend time taking care of curls.

I chose ‘practicality’. Only by taming the curls the objective can be achieved.

I can wash my hair in the morning and head to work after that.

Open the window and let the air does the drying job.

And when I finally reach The Office, all I have to do is to finger-comb it (or use proper brush if I do remember to bring one).

Oh! I think I’ve made up my mind! :)

To the salon again then! :)

**********

Just now, I got annoyed when a she-man who is not my friend, gave a remark on my way of wearing things when (s)he spotted me on my flip flop on the way to the car.

WTF!

If it’s just a casual meeting over late night coffee, even with a mat salleh (who is, based on the report, is hot), why should I bother putting on my killer heels?

Not that my intention is to impress him anyways.

Furthermore, it’s not me who is going for The Hunt.

And at least I will still have guy trying to get me for a one-night-stand (not that I’ve ever had such offer) even if I shake my booty with my BEACH FLIP FLOP!

So again, why bother?

I hate ‘DIVA’.

Ergh!

A Day Is Incomplete Without A Cup of Coffee (Though it is not a freshly brewed one…)

The world is small. I come to realize about it 9 years ago when they guy whom I used to involve with, has a brother who was dating the sister of my dorm neighbour who was also Zahra’s high school senior.

Phew!

And last night, the ’smallness’ gets more apparent when we came across the DJ who played at the club we hit during Zahra’s surprised birthday party together with a couple of guys on the dance floor.

It got worse when Zahra learnt the fact that she almost ‘fell into deep shit’ with a guy whom one of Weed’s friends is currently dating. The news almost sent her into coma and made the kids behind us jumped off their pants upon hearing her shrieking with horror.

It was indeed one hell of a news to digest. At least on her part whilst I, on the other hand, found myself in between being stupefied and trying hard not to laugh.

Looking at her reaction, it’s hard for you not to laugh. LOL!

Later, more news were revealed till Zahra (while still trying to learn how to breathe properly) decided to take out her Little Black Book and jot down possible names that she should avoid getting involved with for the fear that they could be either 1) related to Weeds friends (dating or having history with) or 2) the guys I used to have history with (well, I only have one name to start with).

My my…

It gets more ‘interesting’ to know that in the list is also a guy who used to try to add me in FB…

Geez… I thought there are millions of FB users out there…

Such a small world indeed.

And Zahra is still in the middle of updating her list…

I bet there are more to come.

LOL!!!

In less than a month, RB will have his cute ass over here in KL… not for another visit but for good! ;)

There will no longer be ‘Good Morning’ wish when it’s already after lunch hour in KL.
There will no longer be Skype over the weekends.
There will no longer be RM2.60++/minute call, RM1/MMS and RM0.50/SMS.
And there will no longer be quarterly meeting plan.

:)

Last night, there was an article (or rather a news) on paper about the new witch doctor’s toy- Anak Krok. It sounds exactly like Crocs so I put a mockery on the name, thinking that the ‘thing’ wrapped underneath the white cloth could be an embryo of a super special, mystical crocodile.

As I read through, the ‘thing’ that is being worshipped by these people is actually a small bone of a dead shaman. Not just any of your Tok Itam or Tok Moh, this bone is of a high level one. Call it the Head Honcho, Dean of the Highest Bomoh Society.

Call it Lord Voldemort… he he heee…

As I moved to the next page, I saw an image of that ‘thing’ stood by itself on a palm of the holder. It is said that it’ll respond that way when the name is being called. I dare not go “Whoa…” yet as the top part of the picture didn’t show the full length of Krok. So, it could be that somebody actually held the top to make it stand… (you know lah kan, Harian Metro ni kan suka create a mountain out of a mole hill…)

Later that night, I had an unpleasant dream, quite unpleasant till I have to thank RB BIG TIME for waking me up with his MMS at 1am.

Geez…

I tak suke yee!

So far, I’ve been avoiding the static quite successfully :)

The Day It’s Friday and I Am Reluctant to Get Up From Bed

I got my hair chopped. I don’t think I’ll ever get the chance to leave it longer.

It was impulsive. Could be that I’m tired of looking at the split ends. They are a lot! Probably the worst hit ever in my whole life!

Oh, and I got myself a new wallet too. Red. Just for the up coming Chinese New Year :P

“Hey! You’re not supposed to change to a new wallet till after CNY! You better switch back to the old one…”

That came from Hana. :D

Last night, the PWKK girls had another meeting-cum-dinner. Since I haven’t been having my monthly dose of Backofen, I forced them to hit Hartamas instead of the initial plan to Chawan.

Zahra almost smack the waiter. Thank God that there’s no casualty. :P

Being a Malay, I’ve always been fascinated with the dead and mysticism, thus my main preference on movies and books in my collection.

And one of our major topics last night was about ‘weird-but-not-funny’ things that have been taking place at Zahra’s house. From hairdryer that was turned on automatically to unidentified footsteps to [this is so not funny] the stove that was turned on (all of them) by God-knows-what/who…

My personal experience in this was never a serious one. The only thing I’ve experienced by far is ‘kena himpit’ or sleep paralysis. The medical term for it is ‘Atonia’ but I’m not talking about this matter from scientific perspective.

Wiki has come out with an excellent explanation on this… on behalf of me. :D Be happy to read.

Being someone who used to be ‘embedded’ with ‘voodoo spell’ herself, Zahra fed us with ‘things’ that used to happen to her and to my surprise, her former housemate whom I know.

Weeds and Zahra had series of goosebumps in between whereas I, was too absorbed in wanting to know every single detail.

Looks like it’s time for another round of ‘house cleansing’ ritual.

And Zahra was very much into her story-telling mode in recalling her experiences till she almost slap the waiter who startled her when he asked for empty plates.

LOL!

The curiosity in me is growing. I’m so very going to keep myself updated!

Zzt!

Us in The Office have a problem with static shocks. Once a while, we would hear sudden “OUCH! SHIT!” and when that happens, we know that one of us just got ’shocked’.

Just when I thought that my problem with static shocks only happens back in The Office, I come to discover that I do get them as well when driving mom’s car. And I came to notice about it when I took it for a spin to Melaka over the weekend.

*sigh*

Next time around, if you hear me curse each time after I exit the car from the driver’s seat, you know that I just got “Zzt!”.
