Being Sick Is No Fun!

I had my first diarrhea on Easter that is just too stubborn to go away even after Immodium. Saturday, then Sunday; my constant trips to the loo sent me (almost) frustrated if not dehydrated.

The next thing I knew is, I took half day leave on Monday, was given a day off on Wednesday and DEMANDED for an MC on Friday after my body started to feel beaten on Thursday afternoon.

If there’s one person I’d like shower my bottomless THANK YOU to, that would not be the doctor(s) who asked me to take ORS instead of 100PLUS to replace my ‘expelled’ fluid.

It would be RB for being the sweetest nurse one could ever wish for (yes, he deserves that word because that just simply describes him!).

Tapi macam mana if the nurse pun sakit sama???

As much as I wanted to ‘act strong’ by telling myself that it’d all go away, I had to eventually succumb to retiring under the blanket all day.

And I puked on Saturday.

:(

But after a week long of germs and sickness, I think I am back on track.

RB is too (though sometimes his digital thermometer tricked him with ‘above normal’ readings, which sent him having another 4 more readings just to double sure. LOL!)

What more to speed up his full recovery when he just collected his Easter parcel from Würenlingen this morning!

:)

1. Was browsing the comments in YouTube on Lacuna Coil when I came across a commenter bashing LC as a copycat of Evanescence, which everyone knows it as an utter crap. For a start, LC’s first EP was in 1996 (Ethereal and Lacuna Coil), whereas Evanescence was in 1998 (self-title). To even further compare between those two despite the similarities on the lineup (female vocalist) and genre (gothic metal/rock metal), LP’s first album (In A Reverie) was released in 1999 whilst Evanescence’s Fallen was in early 2003.

Moral of the story is, do your homework before making accusations.

And the truth is, I prefer LC more (the guitar lines and music arrangements are simply my cuppa!).

2. I am in the middle of completing my CASCADE course on Swedish Massage but I feel that it is more of a Biology class rather than a massage training.

LOL!

I’ve always hated memorizing the skeletal system! Next time, when you hear me mentioning Tibia, I actually mean Fibula (yes, I got them mixed up…)

And I already have a willing victim to put what I learnt into practice. :D

Even reminded me twice!

*cracking knuckles*

3. Last Saturday became a great history when I decided to become oh so feminine and wore a dress. Yes people, A DRESS. Well actually, the occasion was to mark our 6th month together. A plan to have a meal at Sky Bar was then being forgotten (Saturday + Sky Bar + no reservation = no seat = no meal). However in the end, our supper was at The Social with Zahra and Leo when we almost settled for Drive-Thru. :D

Yes RB, let’s go for another 6 months…

… and a few more of ‘6-months’. :)

Today, while with Mag browsing dresses for her wedding dinner, I found another nice dress that costs me less than 70 bucks. However, I feel that I have to let it go as it’s not in my April budget allocation. Furthermore, Mag’s reception will only take place in early DECEMBER and there’s a Mega Sale in between.

Talking like a true Malaysian! LOL!
