1. I Hit The Gym Again! I Hit The Gym Again!!!

At this moment, I am experiencing what people describe as ‘Forget your body and they’ll retaliate against you‘ post-workout syndrome, which resulted from improper warm-up. The erecta spinae hurt and not to mention the neck from the 2nd block of Body Jam.

Speaking of Body Jam, I missed that class so much. Having being able to move on the dance floor again after a ‘hiatus’ of 8 months is like re-embracing your beautiful past.

However, I have to admit that it’s quite an effort to make. Those without strong will power will simply choose to close her account and spend time growing fat and prefer spending a hefty amount of money on slimming packages and pills (while having ’sinful indulgences’ at the same time. LOL!), rather than trying to lead a healthy life, if not physically, ‘cardiovascular-ly’ (apa punya term baru daa…).

So, here I am now, trying to establish my weekdays ‘after work schedule’ with…

  1. Monday: Hip Hop class
  2. Tuesday: BodyJam and BodyBalance
  3. Wednesday: BodyJam (and Uptown Hawker session. :P)
  4. Thursday: Yoga

Looks good- a balance combo of muscle toning and cardio work. :D

Oh, and I also have a mission- rebuilding my stamina.

1km for 9:50mins isn’t that bad for someone who hasn’t been running for quite a while. :)

RB has been hinting me to join the marathon, which I’ve yet to decide as I need to evaluate my fitness level. Thus the treadmill session(s).

“So, 5k should be easy right? :P “

Maybe I should just register for it and start working towards it now. :P

2. To Mat Salleh or Not To Mat Salleh, That’s The Question

I was having a conversation with an friend in FB when suddenly our topic took a sharp turn to discussing about non- Asian men (yes, I wasted most of my time on FB for the past couple of days that I should be given a warning letter. Oh wait a minute, warning letter? Does The Office have one? LOL!).

Her: Don’t you feel that Asian men in general, especially the Malays lack of qualities them non- Asian men possess?

Me: Herm, yes in a way.

Her: Is that one of the reasons why you’re having a relationship with RB?

Me: LOL! I’m not that shallow lah, dear. Everybody knows that when it comes to having a relationship, it’s all about the chemistry and a few other factors all put together.

Her: LOL! But is our men THAT bad ke?

Me: Do you want me to lie or to be honest? :P

Her: Silly woman! LOL!

Me: To me, I find Malay men autocratic in a way (fuyoh!). Could be the traits they inherit from Zaman Kesultanan Melayu Melaka kot! Hahaha!!! But!!! For someone who hasn’t been into many relationships with men to start with, it’s unfair for me to judge about them la… Perhaps, it’s just that Asian men are too conceited kot. At the same time, them mat salleh can be as a pain in the ass as the Malay men. In the end, they are all just men. The only differences are that we come from a society where we are not used to expressing our emotion and that us girls are being fed with fairy tales from the movies. That’s why we expect more from our men.

Her: Hahaha! Statement maut gitu! I looike! But I have to agree with you on that… generally lah.

Me: What’s with the sudden question? Ada mat salleh berkenan kaa?

Her: Not really. It’s just that I have this Malay guy who keeps on giving me mixed signals for quite a while without providing further indicator as to whether he is REALLY interested in me or just being mengada- ngada, ya know, main tug and war gitu.

Me: HA! I HATE THAT VERY MUCH! Such an asshole. What’s with the time wasting game? Doesn’t he have anything else to invest his time in?

Her: Hentah lah. I’ll keep you updated soon. *sigh*

People Oh People…

1. SALESPERSONS

Though they can be a little annoying at times, I have to admit that they deserve a pat on the back for taking the challenge on trying to convince other people to buy their products.

I am, in a way, a salesperson as well but I sit at the more luxurious side of the field as I don’t have to brave myself under the sun and rain, going from door to door to sell my stuff.

God has a good way to teach us lessons. I believe that what you give, you’ll get back. That is why I provide them with some respect though I am not interested in what they are selling. In the end, that’s what everyone needs- respect and not some uncivilized replies.

2. ‘POLITICIANS’

Don’t ever assume that politicians only exist in political institutions. This breed exists everywhere, even in small non-political organizations.

After having a chat with a fellow instructor friend, I come to realize that maybe, just maybe, I should stick to becoming a regular member. Getting caught in between and having to kiss ass in order to get a slot is not what I prefer to do.

I’d rather stay away from these small time politicians as well.

And I’d rather find my entertainment elsewhere.

3. PEOPLE WITH MAIMED EQ

The Spa had it’s opening last Saturday and the total turnout was less than 50. However, it was Full House on Sunday till we had to turn down/reschedule a few bookings.

It was tiring but fun.

During our jacuzzi session at the end of the day, I came to discover from The Boss that invitations were sent out to our former school mates and even personal Y!M messages were delivered to them as well.

But in the end, none of them came.

Not even a message of absence.

Accept from Big Daddy.

But from the rest?

Shit.

I’ve come to term that they just don’t worth to be taken seriously. I even told The Boss about it.

Why bother to keep in touch with those who keep on demonstrating to us that they are just a bunch of TYPICAL MALAY with low EQ.

This is the time when I’m declaring that ‘enough is enough’.

I’d like to be more racism (towards my own race) but I prefer not to as the subject will make me emotional.

Truth is, I’m still physically exhausted from Saturday.

Surprisingly…

4. JOB LOUSY-LY DONE

I was hanging RB’s clean clothes collected from the laundry when I saw a lacey clothes in between his. The first thing that popped into my mind is, “It’s the laundryman again…”.

RB was at the living room watching the football match (btw, congratulations again to Man U! :) when I took the blouse out to show him.

“Sayang, this is definitely not yours riiiight..?”, while throwing my almost straight face.

LOL!

(frowning) “Oh no… the laundryman screwed up again… What should I do to this clothes? Throw it away?”

“No, don’t! It’s GAP. It’s still an expensive brand in Malaysia. It’s best that you return it to the laundry.”

And later, he discovered that he lost again a side of his pair of socks.

Poor RB. Maybe he should start thinking of washing his own socks now.

p/s: Congratulations to Popstar and Dancing Queen for The Declaration. A new chapter has begun. ;) I’m truly happy for you guys. *hugs*
